Celebrating the Magic of Nature

I have always been a passionate beachcomber and a lover of nature, as I've grown older time in nature has become ever more essential to my well being. I've become more aware of how fragile the natural world is and of our responsibility to protect it. Becoming a parent of two wonderful girls has made me feel this even more and I wonder (and worry) about the future with the loss of so many species, habitats and our connection to the natural world that sustains us in so many different ways.

In my artwork, I try to explore these ideas, capture the beauty of nature & moments experienced in nature and how it makes us feel through the use of glass paint, light and colour. Nature has a powerful effect on us, I believe that by spending time in nature, we can find inspiration and come to find our place in the world: to appreciate the interconnectedness of life and to take care of the Earth for future generations.
